About Shanna
Allendale, SC native Shanna A. Jefferson is a graduate of the Master of Social Work program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her professional and research interests include financial social work, mental wellness of entrepreneurs, and the poverty to prison pipeline. Shanna is currently pursuing advanced studies in a Doctor of Business Administration program.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Ms. Jefferson has more than 15 years of professional experience working in various settings including community-based mental health services and homeless facilities. In 2013, Shanna opened her private practice Destination Greatness Mental Health Services.
​
As a Clinical Supervisor in North Carolina and South Carolina, Shanna is passionate about serving the next class of Clinical Social Workers. In addition to supervision, Shanna provides consulting to mental health professionals throughout the United States.
Ms. Jefferson’s signature workshop for social workers and mental health professionals “Clinical Entrepreneurship: 7 Tools for Success” has been presented at the SC NASW Annual Conference and the Black Mental Health Symposium.
Ms. Jefferson is committed to serving as a beacon of hope, light, change and Greatness.
