Today, we introduce you to Nyesha Robinson, a contributing author in Volume II of The Mental Cost of Entrepreneurship.
Has your mental health been impacted by your entrepreneurial endeavors?
My Mental Health has been impacted by my entrepreneurial endeavors, when I landed in the emergency room because of a Panic Attack. I then realized I suffered from “Anxiety”. As my doctor explained it, I was overworked and lacked rest, my body went into a life/death mode which causes panic attacks. It clicked for me. I overworked myself trying to become successful, parenting, and trying to maintain not only my livelihood but others. I had to learn as an entrepreneur how to live a work:life balance. Success will fall into place overtime, each day is a new day.
