Visionary Spotlight: Lekeshia Lynch

In celebration of Small Business Month, we are elated to shine the spotlight on visionary entrepreneurs across the United States thanks to our Visionary Sponsor, SwagHer Magazine and Media!

Today, we introduce you to Lekeshia Lynch!

Introduce yourself to the Visions of Greatness audience. Hi. I’m Lekeshia Lynch (Master Motivator) and CEO of The International Center for Wellness PLLC and co owner of Living Well Senior care. I am a graduate of The University of South Carolina school of Social Work with a Masters degree. I'm a licensed Psychotherapist from North Carolina and also practice in South Carolina.

Who or what inspired you to pursue entrepreneurship? I come from a family of entrepreneurs and that inspired me to follow. My father owns businesses in Real Estate and construction. My grandmother owned a community restaurant when I was a young child. Both of my brothers also are entering into the Real Estate industry as well. And my great grandmother was a domestic worker and property owner. So generally I was birthed into entrepreneurship.

Tell the Visions of Greatness audience more about your products/services. The Center for Wellness provides outpatient mental health counseling in office or from the comfort of your home. We specialize in encouraging black and brown people to be Ok when things are not Ok, just don’t get stuck there and seek support when it’s needed.

Let's switch gears briefly and discuss the COVID-19 pandemic. What adjustments have you made in your life and business since the pandemic started? In my life, no true adjustment honestly. I was an essential work and never slowed down during Covid. I will admit I count my blessings more and express gratitude as often as possible. In business I have expanded and increased services throughout the state of North Carolina.

What advice would you give to entrepreneurs struggling to balance their life and business? My advice would be hire someone to help when it’s more than you can handle. Self care is imperative because you are no good to your customers or staff if you have no energy or passion for the work you’re doing.

Share with us one ingredient in your secret sauce for success. Collaboration- pay attention to how Fortune 500 companies develop and grow through mergers. Two is better than one.

How can the Visions of Greatness audience connect with you? I can be found on IG under Living Well with Lekeshia, on the web www.centerforwellnessint.com and FB.

The collaborative book project featured trailblazing entrepreneurs from across the United States sharing their entrepreneurial journey with the world.

Beyond the many opportunities this project has afforded the co-authors, we were recognized by ATL Hottest in 2019 for the inaugural Tatiyana Care Award.

Well…the wait is over for Volume II!

This is your opportunity to share your entrepreneurial journey with the world. The Mental Cost of Entrepreneurship: Volume II is a collaborative book project featuring entrepreneurs who are ready to share their story with the world.
