Introduce yourself to the Visions of Greatness audience. My name is Annette J Morris, MA. I'm a Therapist turned Certified Life and Business Development and Strategies Coach for fellow therapist and female entrepreneurs. I help my target population convert their passion into 5-7 income generating businesses to support their lives and legacy.

Who or what inspired you to pursue entrepreneurship? God anointed and inspired me to do so. I can remember 11 years ago God speaking to my spirit saying it was time to step out on faith. I fought the process hoping he was talking to someone else but using me as the vessel to deliver the message but I knew it my soul the message was for me. I also knew I didn't have money saved or otherwise and was a single mother with two kids. After a short lived fight I gave up and gave in. I've always wanted to help people, therefore helping individuals to monetize their God given gifts has been the most rewarding.

Tell the Visions of Greatness audience more about your products/services. My business Goal Getter LLC is the one stop for entrepreneurs. We provide business development services for for- and non-profits to assure businesses a legitimately set up. Once the business is developed we provide Coaching services to assist clients to start generating revenue and to scale up to 6-7 figures in business. We also have an entire graphics team that provides add on services such as graphic designs, web design and more to assure all of our clients have what they need to succeed in business.

Let's switch gears briefly and discuss the COVID-19 pandemic. What adjustments have you made in your life and business since the pandemic started?

The main pivot that the pandemic caused me to make was to conduct most of my coaching services virtually and to place part on my business on automation with digital products and courses.

What advice would you give to entrepreneurs struggling to balance their life and business? To stop thinking of balance as equal. Most people especially mom exhibit guilt because they can't spend equal time with kids and spouses as they do in their businesses. It's irrational to think you can therefore don't try. Balance means allocating appropriate time in each are, have date night with the spouse once a month, set a cut off time for work to join your spouse in bed, have movie night with the kids, or game day after dinner...make time meaningful. Then for work schedule your days in time blocks to assure you're accomplishing as much as you'd like to accomplish during the day giving yourself a set cut off time everyday, off days and breaks throughout the day.
